Understanding the new way to do business

Stricter working arrangements with Chinese suppliers in recent weeks are a result of the worldwide shortages of PPE products, the overwhelming demand by government agencies, and numerous buyers from across the globe. Panic buying situation has resulted in price increases, delayed deliveries, and more stringent payment terms. Also, changing governmental regulations of export authorizations further complicates the matter.

We've discovered that some marketplace fraud, counterfeit products, and certificates now exist. We recommend whether you purchase with us, or elsewhere, please ensure it's a reputable source with a history in PPE supply and fulfillment. A noteworthy detail, due to the end of regular commercial flights, the cost of air freight has skyrocketed and is ever-changing.

Under today's unprecedented circumstances, doing business with suppliers located in China and throughout Asia has become an interesting obstacle we've managed to handle. To that end, PQI is set up to work through current challenging market conditions to minimize the uncertainty of our partners.

Manufacturers:

Our company works directly with several leading PPE manufacturers in China and throughout Asia. Our vetted manufacturers ensure proper export licenses and approved certifications, including FDA.CE and NIOSH are in place. PQI places orders with the manufacturer who has the best available production capacity to complete the order. We provide all customers with necessary factory information, including address, FDA, CE, and other certs, photos, and any other essential documentation for approval before proceeding. 

All suppliers work with a full advance payment before shipping the goods. Usually, a 50% down payment is required to start production, and the balance is payable before shipping. 

Inspections:

To minimize uncertainties and worries, we work with several international professional 3rd party auditors with offices throughout Asia who can provide an onsite inspection service of the factory before deposit and ensure the authenticity of the facility and the documentation. This 3rd party auditor will return to the factory a second time before final payment and shipment to ensure the quality and quantity of the order and ensure all the necessary documentation is present for the forwarder. We highly recommend the use of inspection and audit firms. Our customers may choose the Inspection entity from several international firms or ask us to use the company, which is the most available at the time. 

Shipments:

Our company also works with several freight forwarders and customs brokers who can arrange the pickup, air or ocean shipping, customs clearance, and final delivery to any location in the US or Europe. The customer may choose to work with a forwarder through our company or elect to work directly with their forwarder.

It is imperative that you, the customer, fully understand this, and feel comfortable with our services. We work with full transparency with our customers and aim at trustful working practices.
